Jane loves working with words and has over 20 years’ experience revising English written by non-native speakers. She works with you to transform your English text into something that is not only linguistically perfect but also a true expression of who you are and what you do.

Be it your website, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, report or leaflet, she will revise your original text, correcting the grammar, vocabulary, consistency, readability and flow. Your text will become a professional piece of writing that is fit for purpose.

How does it work?

  • You send Jane your original English text in a Word document.

  • If required, she’ll edit a short section of it and send you a no-obligation estimate.

  • Jane completes a first-round edit of your text using tracked changes. She also includes any queries she may have about the text.

  • You go over the changes Jane has made and answer any queries.

  • She makes additional changes based on your answers to her queries.

  • And finally, Jane does a final revision of the text.

Jane’s hourly rate is €66.

Why an hourly rate? Because everyone’s level of English is different and every text has its own unique needs in terms of revision and correction. There’s no such thing as a ‘standard’ page of writing and no ‘usual’ length of time that it takes to perfect it. She uses a time management tool which clocks exactly how long she spends on your text and can send you a report if required.

Her invoice will reflect the actual number of hours she worked on your text, up to the maximum quoted in the estimate:

  • Did it take her less time to edit than Jane estimated? She only charge you for the actual number of hours worked.

  • Did it take her longer? You will never pay more than quoted in her estimate!
